Update On coursework



Working with the song 7 Ring was very challenging as it has no words and the idea's i had were very to hard to pull of as i was struggling to find dancers and actors capable to do what i had imagined.

 the crazy ideas that are going though my mind.

I cant wait to piece it all together and see the final outcome. I defiantly feel like my overall ideas are much better then my previous song choice's music video.

For my Website I have been looking for templates I like on both Wix.com and Squarespace.com. I have found a few I like but they don't fit the theme I would like to portray for my Artist. So what i'm planning to do is find any template and start from basics; configuration, changing fonts, colours and the list goes on.

My next task to complet would be to get a name for my artist as the old name i had would not suit the new artist.

In the mid-60s, US soul singer James Brown developed a new style of music called funk. In soul music the melody and lyrics are central, but in funk the rhythmic groove is central. A funk groove can continue for a long time without chord changes, and funk songs in the 60s often lasted for ten minutes or more. By the early 70s, nightclubs called discos were employing DJs to play dance tracks because it was cheaper than hiring a band. At first they played funk and up-tempo soul tracks, but in the mid-70s they started playing tracks with a new rhythm that was easier to dance to. Another new genre of dance music called techno developed in Detroit in the early 80s when club DJs began making electronic dance tracks. Evaluate the relevance of Todorov's theory of narratology to long form TV drama

Todorov’s theory of narratology is extremely useful in analysing the narrative of long form television drama. However, Todorov’s theory was drawn from fairy tales and is not designed to explain serial narratives like long form dramas with complex narratives, several different narrative strands and the segmented storylines of long form dramas.   Todorov’s theory is useful in stranger thing. His theory is very simple and widely used though out the generations. Its possible to identify his key elements of his narrative theory in long form TV drama.
